Today the school did cross country. The senior syndicate went to Minogue park for their cross country. The 9 year old kids ran 1 1/2 k' the 10 year old kids ran 2 k' and the 11 year old kids ran 2 1/2 k'. I was in the 11 year old race. First Mr freak did stretches with us. Then we went to the start line. 321 GO! and we where off. Devin had a fast start but then people started to pass him at that stage I was coming 8th but quickly moved to 6th. I was behind Luisa and she would not let me pass. It had been one lap and I was going at a steady pace behind her then she stopped. I sprinted and got in front of her the rest of the way was tiring but I was glade I made it in front of her. Every once and a while I would look back to see if she was getting close but she wasn't. In the end I came 3rd. I am very happy with myself and I achieved my goal of coming in the top 10.
